Mental Telepathy
Do you mean that you have actually never heard that Adam and Eve probably communicated via “Mental Telepathy” before they “sinned” and “short-circuited” their connection with “God” and thereby with each other? Wow! “You need to get out more”! 
No offense intended. 
By that I simply mean that you should expand the boundaries of your thinking more. I know it takes some time and effort and can be quite a “stretch” for our “comfort level” – but it IS absolutely “necessary” if we are to “grow”. A good place to start is to read my feeds “Why Man” and “Why God”. They are found on the left, upper, corner of my MSN “space
Then read some of the books on “consciousness” that are found in my “Book Review” in the upper middle portion of my “space”. These simply describe the “makeup” of “life” from a modern, enlightened, “scientific” perspective. You see, I have come to believe that the Bible and science TOTALLY agree. I did not always believe that because I did not really understand the “nature” of “existence” or “life”. I particularly recommend the following books.

Our body “sleeps” (rest and refreshes itself) but our soul or spirit (consciousness or unconscious) never does. The “unseen” AWARE “part” of us is by no means limited to the confines of the body or the brain. These are but a means to “expression” in what appears to us as our“reality”. But this “graphic realm” that we “live” in is only a tiny fraction of the realm that this “consciousness” “inhabits”. Sleep “experts” have found that if a person is deprived of REM sleep long enough that they will become increasingly irratable, disoriented and will eventually die. 
What are “dreams”? It seems to me that since they are an integral and important part of our lives – that we SHOULD understand them. Many believe that “sleeping experience” that we have been taught to believe are just “dreams” – are actually our spirit or soul on an “astral journey” in the “astral plane”. (And no I am not a “new-ager” just because I use those terms) Remember the term “astral” is just a word that somebody came up with to describe something and it “caught on”. To me all it describes is an aspect of the “unseen” realm of our “existence” or “consciousness”.
God is NOT the author of FEAR. In contrast it is Satan who wants to keep you in the dark about anything that is important. 
He uses FEAR and oppression and brainwashing to do that. Don’t worry. Nothing is going to jump out of the dark and grab you just because you explore this subject matter. 
Below is a book that I recommend about understanding and benefiting from the process that we call “dreams”.

If you view our body, mind, spirit complex as a living bio-computer it makes more sense. 
While our “conscious” mind “sleeps” our “unconscious” mind “defragments”, “makes sense of”, “organizes” and gives “meaning” to all that our five senses were exposed to during the waking hours of that day. Not only that but as a result of this you may actually come up with “answers” to some of your “life’s problems”.
Therefore, we can conclude that this “life” evidently is a “learning experience” of “some kind” for “some aspect” of our “higher selves“. It apparently is also a graphic “expression” of our “higher selves” that evidently allows “us” to make “improvements” or “desired changes” for the betterment of “all that is”. The possibilites are endless. For instance, my wife believes that she does “spiritual work” in her dreams of the type that we “Christians” tend to think ONLY occurs through the process known as “normal” waking “prayer”. I recommend that you read the following book to learn about this subject.

I have learned that I must keep bringing us back to the following thought – because of the counter-productive way that we have learned to deal with “words”. Please remember: ALL of these “word” are just “meaningful terms” that attempt to “describe” something or some “process”. They are NOT something to “fight” about or something that we should allow to bring division” between us. If we do – what does that say about OUR priorities? What was that? I am sorry. I didn’t quite make out what you “said”. 
Oh. OK. That’s what I thought” you “said” but I just wanted to make sure that I “heard” you right.
Occasionally for some reason someone will have use of these “psychic” abilities more than the average person does. Most of her life my wife has been able to feel other peoples feeling and know other peoples thoughts. However, she was raised in a very fearful, oppressive and unsupportive environment. She was afraid that something was wrong with her, or that these abilities were of the devil. Not only that but she had no training in this and it nearly drove her mad. The only way she could handle it was to stay away from people and take medicine to suppress it. She now has had much more “inner healing” and is finally beginning to understand more about these things but she is still relatively untrained in “controlling” it. Therefore, she still takes medicine to suppress it just so she can cope. See the movie “Scanners” in order to get an idea of what she has had to deal with. By the way that is a “Sci-Fi” movie.
It may be interesting to know that communication is always done via mental telepathy in my wife’s “dreams” or “astral journeys”. That makes me wonder just why shouldn’t we also be able to communicate via “mental telepathy” while we are “awake”? Just stop and “think” about it for a minute. Jesus gave us an example of the capacity of God in a human body. It was one that was not limited by the consequences of “sin” or the “fall” of humankind from the lofty place we held when God first created humans.
Remember, Jesus was the “last Adam“. (1 Corinthians 15:45) The first Adam “messed it up” so this time God made sure the “job” was going to be “done right”. If Jesus “knew” what people were thinking then does it not also make sense that He could also communicate with others by thought? (Luke 5:22) He said, “Nothing is impossible if you believe”. (Matthew 17:20) Was Jesus guilty of “unbelief” or “doubt”? Of course not. Therefore, it must have been because of the “limitations” of others that He chose to communicate with them by “words”.
After all, Jesus was and is God and is the “WORD” of God or the “express image” of God in the flesh. (John 1:1-5 and verse 14) The footnotes in the NIV study bible about these verses tells us that the Greek term for “word” means a thought (we think in images not letters of the alphabet) before it is spoken as well as the vocal expression of the thought. So Jesus was the “thoughts” of God “communicated” to us on a level that we could comprehend them.
Whose “words” do you base your “doctrine” and “life” on? Is it those of Jesus or others? Be honest now! I say that because when I look at the lives of “Christians” and the Church” – I see very little similarity to the “radical” and “revolutionary” teachings of Jesus about how we should live. In fact – what I see is the very opposite of what HE taught. Hmm. THAT “should” make you give some SERIOUS “thought” to that matter huh?
I also want you to “think” about this. What is “Mind Melding” but “Your mind to my mind and Your thoughts to my thoughts”? Perhaps the “Sci-fi” programs about the “Vulcan’s” “Mind Melding” were not that far from the truth! It is interesting to note that most of what is a “reality” for us today – was once “science fiction” for others. If we question this – then how are we any different than those who once absolutely KNEW that the earth was FLAT?
In view of that idea – let me ask YOU this question. Why do YOU ‘think’ Adam & Eve DID NOT communicate by means of “mental telepathy”? The reason that you think that is probably, the same reason that most people once thought the world was FLAT – when only a few “enlightened” people thought it was round! Consequently, next you should also ask yourself the following question. Is your “reasoning” for YOUR thoughts about this matter based on “good science” or popular opinion and personal preference and prejudice? I recommend the following book because it has no “hype” – just “good science”.

And so it is with ALL things. Aha! “Now we are getting somewhere!” I finally got even YOU to “think” about what you had previously “taken for granted” or “thought you KNEW so well” didn’t I? And THIS my dear “friends” or “foes” is the entire PURPOSE of my blog. There was no offense intended by anything I said. This is just my way of getting people to “think” a little differently about things. Did what I said get you a little “out of sorts”? No worries mate – “you will be OK when the swelling goes down”!
